I Robert W. Smith of Calais on oath do testify and say that at sometime during the past winter I heard John Sebattis say he had received from Seth W. Smith the sum of forthy five dollars, at different times during the year 1857, for the purpose of purchasing lumber & materials to build a house or words to that effect.
