56 to examine the doings and transactions of the several incorporated banks in this State, having made a Report, the same is laid before the Legislature for their consideration.

    The foregoing message came from the Senate referred to the committee on Banks & Banking, together with the accompanying documents, for concurrence - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate directing that so much of the Governors Speech as relates to the State Prison, with the accompanying Documents be referred to the joint standing committee on the State Prison, for concurrence and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on the Judiciary to consider, whether any further provisions are necessary additional to the provisions of the existing laws respecting possessory titles to Real Estate, with leave & - and the House concurred.

Resolve additional to the Resolve authorizing the purchase of Books for the use of the Legislature, was read once & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Bill establishing the salaries of the Judge & Resister of Probate for the County of Waldo, was read 1st time & tomorrow at 11 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.
