Bill to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of a part of Stage Island + Mistake Island - reported with an amend ment which was adopted, was read a 3rd time as amended and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of the Selectmen of Parkman to have their doings made valid. also, Remonstrance of Mark L. Hill + als agst establishing a Registry of Deeds at Topsham were severally read + referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Job Thomas to have the decision of a certain Martial reversed was read + referred to the committee on Military Affairs. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on the petition of David J. Bent in behalf of the town of Bangor report that the order of notice on said petition has been complied with and that the petitioners now have leave for a Bill - and the report was accepted.
