The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a written message from the Governor addressed to the two Houses of the Legislature which was ordered to lie on the table.

On motion by Mr. Southwick Ordered that the Secretary of State be directed to notify Samuel M. Pond, that he has been duly elected, by a Convention of both Houses of the Legislature a Senate and request him to take a seat at this Board. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred
