Bill to incorporate the Penobscot Manufacturing & Exporting Company was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill for the benefit of Waterville College, was called up, and a motion made by Mr Spooner of New Portland for an indefinite postponement - The question was decided in the negative by yeas & nays as follows yeas 60 nays 73. Col Carpenter moved a reconsideration of the last vote and Tuesday next at 10 oclock was assigned to consider the motion.

The Resolve on the subject of the States Printing was assigned for consideration on Tuesday next at 10 o'clock

Bill further in addition to an act concerning foreign attachment was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Message from the Governor.

A special Message was received from the Governor dated January 20th 1825 [see appendix page 225] on the subject of supplies furnished the Penobscot Indians - and the same referred in Senate to Messrs Kelsy & Parsons of York with such as the House may join came down for concurrence - and the House concurred & Messrs Leonard of Brewer Carpenter of Sebec & Wass of Addison were joined.

Reports on petitions of David C Burr " - of Knott Crocket & als - " of Temple Lodge " of John Monson & als " of David Dunlap & als granting leave for Bills, came down accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
