Afternoon. Met according to adjournment.

Resolve respecting the Proprietors of side booms in Androscoggin River, came from the Senate amended for concurrence & the House so far receded from thus amended in concurrence with the Senate.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve for the benefit of Waterville College, Mr Hazeltine of Seansmont, moved an indefinite postponement of the Resolve, and the question being taken by yeas & nays was decided in the negative as follows yeas 60 nays 69 [see appendix page 283] The question "Shall the Resolve now finally pass" was then put and decided in the negative.
