Bill additional to an Act authorizing, the town of Portland to assess a tax on the owners of Dogs, was read once tomorrow 11 oclock assigned for a second reading and committed to Messrs Balkam, Weston and Grover,

On motion by Mr. Herrick Ordered, that hereafter the afternoon session of the Senate shall commence at half past three oclock except on Saturday when there shall be no afternoon session.
