The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment
Petition of David Dunlap and others Directors of the Union Bank, for a change of the name of said Corporation and that their doings may be made valid, was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
Petition of the Selectmen of Harrison, that the doings of said town may be made valid, Petition of Joseph Bryant and others Inhabitants of Baldwin for a law concerning the mode of counting and selling staves, and Petition of Assessors of Plantation No, 1, 7th Range that their doings may be made valid were severally read and in concurrence with the House referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
Petition of Joseph R. Abbot and others, for a Lottery to enable them to improve the Navigation of Kennebec River, was read and in concurrence with the House, referred to the Select Committee on that part of the Governor's message relating to Internal improvements.
