222 Bill authorizing the South School District in the town of East- port to borrow money, was taken up and the House re- ceded from their former vote + referred the subject to the next Legislature.

On motion, Ordered, that the order of the 19th inst, direc- ting the committee on the Pay Roll to deduct from the daily pay of each member of the House the number of days he is absent to be suspended in its operation.

Resolve, providing for payment of the Adjutant + Quarter Mas- ter Generals accounts, was taken up + the House adhered to their vote postponing the same indefinitely. Sent up.
