[Bill imposing Fines &c referred]
Bill imposing fines on towns neglecting to choose Representatives, came up and the House refer the subject to the Next Legislature: The Senate reconsider their former vote upon the Bill and concur with the House. -
[Resolves passed]
The Committee on engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly engrossed, viz. Resolve in favor of the Penobscot Indians, Resolve for obtaining a loan of twenty thousand dollars, Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate and Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives, and they were severally passed. -
[Report of the Committee who waited on the Governor]
The Committed appointed to wait upon the Governor and inform him that the Legislature had passed upon all the public business before them, and had agreed to adjourn without day, &c. reported that they had performed that service and that the Governor was pleased to say that he should make one further communication by the Secretary of State and that would be all that he should have to communicate at this Session of the Legislature: Read and sent down. -
[Secretary reads Titles of Act &c passed &c]
The Secretary of State then came in and read the titles of one hundred and ten acts and sixty seven Resolves, passed during the present session, all of which had been approved by the Governor. He also informed the Senate that the Governor had no further communication to make to the Legislature. -
