Daniel Rose for the ability, impartiality and fidelity with which he has presided over their deliberations; and for the uniform civility, which he has exercised towards the members of this Board during the present session; And that we avail ourselves of this occasion to express our high respect for his public services, and our Sincere wishes for his future usefulness and happiness."

The Resolution you have now passed convinces me that the defect which have been observed in the performance of my duty, have by you been deemed what they really were, unintentional errors.  While with me recollection remains, I shall remember with pleasure the time spent at this Board during the present session. For the honor done me by your approval of my conduct while presiding over your deliberations, permit me, Gentlemen, to express my unfeined thanks to each and every member of this Board. Be assured, Gentlemen, that my best whishes attend you. May your usefulness as public men be
