Mr Speaker, The Senate propose a convention of both branches at the Representatives Chamber at 4 oclock this afternoon for the purpose of filling the vacancy at the Senate Board occasioned by the resignation of Jonas Parlin Junior Esquire - and the House concurred &c.
Report on deed from Timothy Boutelle & wife to the State, granting a Resolve, was referred to the next Legislature.
Bill in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern and discipline the Militia of this State, came from the Senate, that body insisting on their amendments - House also insisted a appointed Messrs McCobb of Phipsburg, Adams of Portland & Vance of No 6, as Conferees.
Bill authorizing the town of Bangor to purchase the Bridge over the Kenduskeag River in said town, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
