76 [left margin] Bill relating to shooks Resolve - side booms Androscoggin River [main body] Bill relating to Red oak hogshead shooks and Resolve respecting the Proprietors of side booms in Andros- coggin River, as amended, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
[left margin] Bill education of Youth [main body] Mr. Dennett from the committee on Bills in the sec- ond reading reported in a new draft Bill additional to an Act entitled an Act to provide for the education of youth and the same was read a second time and passage refused.
[left margin] Bill - County of Waldo Mr. Grover from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz Bill additional to "an act establishing the County of Waldo" and the same was passed to be enacted [bold] and also [left margin] Resolve - pur chase of Books Resolve authorizing the purchase of Books for the use of Legislature and the same was finally passed
And these Bills and Resolve was presented to the Governr for his approbation and signature.
