The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment
Bill to set off Benjamin Woodbury and others from Buckfield to Paris came up from the House referred to the next Legislature and the Senate reconsidered their former vote and concurred with the House in referring the same
Bill additional to An Act respecting the Herring fishery in the waters of Vinalhaven was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
Bill additional to the Act respecting pounds and impounding came up from the House, was read a first time and tomorrow, 10 oclcok assigned for a second reading
Petition of the Bank of Portland to be reimbursed certain expenses by them incurred in bringing one Lombard to justice referred in the House to the Committee on the Judiciary came up for concurrence, was read and the Senate concurred
Mr. Scamman from the Committee on the subject of Lotteries reported leave to bring in a Bill on the petition of John Ruggles in behalf of the Thomaston Coal and Mineral Company, Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence
On motion by Mr. Dunlap, Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of amending a Resolve prescribing the forms of Returns of votes for Governor
