Mr. Scamman, from the Committee reported the "Bill to assess on this State a tax of Forty nine thousand nine hundred and ninety three Dollars and ninety three cents with amendments, and the same was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Churchill from the Conferees on the disagreement of the two Houses in relation to the "Bill imposing a duty on Sales at Auction," reported that the Committee recommend to the Senate an adherence to their former vote passing this Bill to be engrossed. Read and accepted and thereupon the Senate voted to adhere accordingly
