A message was received from the Senate by Mr Huchsinson their Secretary, Proposing a Convention forthwith in the Representatives Chamber for the purpose of qualifying Levi Hubbard, Counselor elect - and the House concurred &, the Clerk notified the Senate thereof.

Agreeably to assignment, the two Houses assembled in convention when Levi Hubbard, counsellor elect came in & took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him to enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office - and the convention separated.

Met according to adjournment

Bill additional act to exempt certain goods & chattels from attachment, execution & distress, was read a third time and referred to Messrs White of Monmouth, Briant of Fairfield & Miller of Waldoborough.

Bill changing the names of certain persons, was read 1st & 2nd time & Monday at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve relative to imprisonment for debt, was read once & referred to the next Legislature in concurrence with the Senate.
