Ordered, That the committee on Finance be directed to consider and report what sum it is expedient to raise by a tax on Polls & estates for the support of Government the present year - read & passed.
Bill repealing part of an act to incorporate Anson Academy & reviving the residue, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.
Reports of last Legislature on petitions of Amos Hill & al- - of Town of Albion - came down referred in Senate to the committee on incorporation of towns for cocurrence -0 and the House concurred.
Reports on the petitions of Joshua Dunn & als - of David Ho Patterson & als granting Orders of Notice, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.
Reports on the petitions of Adam Weed - of William Tozier-
granting leave to withdraw, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House concurred.
