The Joint Select Committee to which was referred the petition of E. Robinson and others Inhabitants of Readfield also of Sulivan Lothrop & others Inhabitants of the town of St Albans praying the Legislature to pass Resolutions instructing our senators and Representatives to use their influence to obtain the pasage [passage] of a Law abolishing Slavery in the District of Columbia and the Territories of the United States
have had the same under consideration, and ask leave to Submit the Following Resolves
