The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed. An additional Resolve in favor of Joel Wellington & Samuel Whitney - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Ludden of Canton

  Ordered, That Messrs Ludden of Canton, Bourne of Kennebec & Weeks of China be committee to inquire into the expediency of passing a law to prevent farming utensils being attached on Mesne process - read & passed.

On motion of Mr Herrick of Lewiston

  Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to into the expediency of amending an act entitled an act making further provision for legal process approved March 6th 1826 -read & passed. Sent up for concurrence
