Bill – prescribing the mode of calling the first meetings in towns incorporated within this State, laid on the table by Mr George of Newport, was referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve – authorizing a loan of money, was amended, read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill – to set Nahum Corson with his estate from Dearborne & annex the same to Waterville. - to provide for the safe keeping of Justices Records. - authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of a Bridge at Sullivan Ferry. - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed. Resolve – making further provision respecting the State road from Sunkhaze to Mattawamkeag river. - in favor of North Yarmouth Academy - - respecting the State road near Passadumkeag - - for repairing & completing the State road from Baring to Houlton Plantation, near Baskahegan - - respecting internal improvements in this State - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to prevent resistance to legal process, was read a third time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – imposing a duty on sales at auction, was read a second time & indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence
