The union men and confederates mixed all together wher they had charged allternately detirmined to hold the little marks that the rebs had thrown up for protection. Our Col J L Chameblin was wounded with a minnie ball threw the hips while commanding the 1st Brigade in the 1st Division of the 5th Corps. It was reported that the wound would prove fatal.
