[Message &c referred]
The Governor's Special Message of yesterday came up, and the House refer the same with accompanying Documents to the Joint Committee on the subject of the State Prison, with authority to said Committee, to cause to be printed all or such part of said Documents as they may deem interesting to the Legislature; and the Senate concurred in the reference and authority to said Committee.
[Report on the Treasurers Accounts]
Mr. Scamman from the Committee appointed to examine the Treasurer's accounts, Reported that they find upon due examination that the several detailed statements of receipts and expenditures composing that Report are correctly receipted for, charged and cast; and that there remained in cash in the Treasury a balance of eleven thousand and one hundred dollars and sixty three and a half cents, on the thirty first day of December, eighteen hundred and twenty four. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence, and came up concurred.

Petition of James Work and others for a revision of Militia Law, committed in the House to the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs, came up for concurrence, was read & concurred.
On motion of Mr. Campbell, Ordered, That the Petition of John Burgin and others be taken from the files and laid on the table: Referred to Messrs. Prime and Parsons of L. with such as the House may join: Sent down for concurrence
