Bill to limit the tenure of certain offices was taken up and assigned for tomorrow at 11 oclock.

[Reports on Petition] Mr. Usher from the committee, on petition of Dudley Fogg and als. reported that the same be referred to the next Legislature : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

Mr. Usher from the Committee, on petition of Enoch Page and als. reported that the petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition, with this order thereon to be published in the Somerset Journal, printed at Norridgewock, three weeks successively, the last publication to be sixty days at least before the first Wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence ; concurred.-

Mr Small from the committee, on petition of John Glidden Junr. reported that he have leave to bring in a Resolve : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence : concurred.

[Bills] Bill directing the proceedings against forcible entry and detainer, Bill additional to the act for the inspection of Lumber &c. and Bill respecting the fisheries in St. George's River, were severally read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence. -
