Whereas before our Supreme Judicial Court, begun and held at Augusta, within and for the County of Kennebec, on the third Tuesday of September, being the eighteenth day of said month in the year of our Lord; one thousand eight hundred and twenty one, Nathan Blanchard, of Winslow, in our County of Kennebec yeoman, was convicted of the Crime of Larceny, and thereupon by our said Court was sentenced to be punished by solitary imprisonment for the term of one month, and afterwards by confinement to hard labor for the term of one year, in and within the common gaol; situated in Augusta in the County of Kennebec, which sentence has been executed; and he the said Nathan Blanchard has humbly supplicated Us for mercy:
