With many of you, I have been long associated in the discharge of Legislative duties, attached to some by ties of personal friendship; and indulging towards all, sentiments of  esteem & respect. I tender to each of you my best wishes for your present and future welfare. On your return to your respective families, friends and constituents, may you find in the smiles of affection - in the delights of domestic happiness - in the pleasures of social intercourse - in the continued and increasing confidence of all, the reward of faithful public services and of private virtues. And in all your walks in life, may that high Intelligence in whom abide wisdom and power, light all your paths and guide all your footsteps.
 
  
An order came from the Senate appointing Messrs Cushman, Miller & Grover with such as the House of Representatives may join, committee to wait on the Governor & inform him that the two houses of the Legislature have passed upon all the public business before them, and are now ready to adjourn without day, & inquire if he have any further communication to make to them - And the House concurred & Messrs Mitchell of Freeport, Burnham of Unity, Fogg of Limerick, Howard of Leeds & Bradford of Livermore were joined.

Mr Mitchell from the joint committee to wait on the Governor, reported that the committee had performed the service assigned & that the Governor was pleased to say that he head but one further communication to make
