The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a special message from the Governor, informing of the resignation of Major General Blossom of the sixth Division of the Militia of this State: Read and sent down. -

Bill additional to an Act respecting Houses of Correction, and for suppressing and punishing rogues, vagabonds, beggars and other idle or disorderly persons,” came up with amendments in a new draft, and the Senate so far reconsider their former vote as to pass the same to be engrossed in concurrence. -
