[Order of H. of R. directing Secretary of State to loan to the Director of the Damariscotta Canal Corpo. Stricklands Reports on Railways Bill - Militia] Order of the House of Representatives that the Secretary of State be authorized to loan to the Directors of the Damariscotta Canal Corporation one of the sets of Stricklands Reports on Railways &c, which are deposited in his office subject to the disposition of the Legislature was read & passed in concurrence.

Bill making further provisions concerning the militia came up amended and a third reading refused, the Senate adopted the amendment proposed and passed the Bill to be engrossed as in this new draft amended. Sent down for concurrence

[Order - Registers of Deeds] Order of the House of Representatives that the Senate be requested to send down the Report and other papers, passed up this session relating to an alteration of the Law requiring Registers of Deeds to pay 17 cents on each deed &c, was read and request granted.
