On motion by Mr. Cushman the petitions of the Inhabitants of China, Sydney, Palermo and Vassalborough in relation to the fishery in the 7 mile brook in Vassalborough were taken from the files and referred to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence.

Mr. Cutler from the Conferees on the disagreement of the two Houses respecting the Bill to secure to owners their property in Logs, Masts, Spars and other timber in the Schoodic and St. Croix Rivers reported that they had attended the duties assigned them and being unable to agree with the Conferees of the House, recommend that the Senate adhere to their former votes refusing the Bill a passage. Read and accepted and the Senate voted to adhere accordingly. Sent down.
