194 [Resolve - Treats on days of election] Mr. Megquier from the Committee reported this last Resolve in a new draft entitled "Resolve discountenancing the practice of treating on public days of election", the Senate substituted the new draft for the original Resolve and then refused the same a passage. Sent down for concurrence. [Bill - costs in criminal prosecution Bill - P. M. F. I. Co. " alewives P. Stream " fish Dyers R. " Salaries Probate " Town of Hancock " town lines] Mr. Grover from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz Bill additional to an Act providing for the payment of costs in criminal prosecutions " to incorporate the Portland Mutual Fire Insurance Company " additional to regulate the taking of fish in Dyer's River " additional respecting salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate " to incorporate the town of Hancock and Bill to establish the lines of the town of Liberty and the same were passed to be - enacted. and also [Resolve - Tax] Resolve laying a Tax upon the several Counties in this State and the same were finally passed And these Bills and this Resolve were presented to the Governor for his approbation and signature.
