Ordered that the following questions be submitted to the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court for their opinion and answer 1st - Can persons under the care & direction of Overseers of the Poor of any town who have been disposed of for one year for the labor of such person constitutionally vote for State Officers during that time 2nd - Can ballots with the names of persons not having the qualifications of a Representative be counted agreeable to the 5th Section 4th Article part 1st of the Constitution as votes - so as to prevent a majority of votes given for persons eligible making a choice
