On motion of Mr. Adams of Portland Ordered, That so much of the Governor's Communication as relates to the boundary line between this State and the State of New Hampshire be referred to a select committee of this House with such as the Senate may join.
Mr. Smith of Newfield from the committee to contract with some person to perform the duties of Messenger &c - reported that the Committee had contracted with Thomas Baker to perform those duties at the rate of four dollars per day - and the House refused to accept the report.
