Shapleigh of Berwick, Williams of Augusta & Mowry of Lubec be a committee, with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of providing by law that no member of the Legislature or of the Council during the term for which he shall been elected, receive or be appointed to any appointment or situation of profit under this State, which shall have been created on the emoluments of which increased during such term - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
