[Bill to annex part of Surry to Ellsworth] Bill to annex a part of the town of Surry to the town of Ellsworth came up amended and referred to the next Legislature and the Senate adopted the amendment proposed, nonconcur the House in their reference and passed the Bill to be engrossed and amended. S.d.f.c. concurred.

[Resolve in favor of John K. Smith] Mr. Kingsbury from the Com. reported Resolve in favor of John K. Smith. Read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed and also

[Bill relative to duties to be paid] on the same subject reported Bill repealing part of an Act establishing the duties to be paid by certain officers therein named and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 o'clock assigned for a 2nd reading.

Mr. Page from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz [Bills enacted] Bill to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Franklin Bank and Bill to annex a part of Patricktown Plantation to the town of Jefferson and the same were passed to be enacted and also
