On motion of Mr. Megquier, ordered, that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Judges of the Supreme Judicial Court to exercise the powers in relation to recognizances entered into in the Court of Common Pleas, conditioned for the prosecution of an appeal in civil actions as they now may in actions on bonds, or other specialties. Sent down for concurrence - concurred.
