Bill - additional to the several acts, now in force, securing to owners their property in logs, masts, spars & other timber, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed with amendments as on sheet annexed marked A. Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve in aid of Edgecomb Bridge, was read a second time & refused a passage.
Mr Kent of Bangor has leave of absence after today during the remainder of the session.
Resolve for the payment of contingent expenses, laid on the table by Mr Swan of Portland, was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve in favor of Erastus Foote -
- an additional Resolve to encourage & aid the publication of a statistical view & maps of the State -
which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
The same committee reported as duly engrossed Bill - making further provision concerning records of Justices of the Peace which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
