We do not have a list of the Kiwanis Clubs in Maine, but the President of the Augusta Kiwanis is Howard Davies, Jr., and possibly he could furnish you with a list of cities which have Kiwanis Clubs. We wish that we might be more helpful to you, but we do not, of course, have the means to secure speaking engagements for persons. It is possible that various Chambers of Commerce would be of assistance to you. It is not known to us what cities or towns afford payment of speakers; it would very likely depend upon the organization and the affluence (and interest!) of its members. We look forward to receiving the books you mention, and assure you that upon the publication of ANDROSCOGGIN we will purchase a copy for lending purposes. It will be an honor to receive the gift copy for the Maine Author Collection.
