We received orders at noon to strike our tents and go to Harper's Ferry. we are to start at 3 oclock. at 3 oclock the orders are countermanded and we are not to start till to morrow morning it is snowing very hard now. I sat down and wrote a letter in the evening to my mother. and another to a friend in August Maine | ||
