and then we pitched our tents and cleaned up things. part of our company is quartered in the tents. and the rest of them is quartered in a large two story brick building. that formily belonged to a rebel who is now a Colonel in the rebel army. his property is coficecated[?] and belongs to the United States Government We are quartered at present on the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road. and we are Encamped within 40 rods of the Potomac river. on a very pretty entervale.
