Report on Petition of Selectmen of Milo granting leave to withdraw - came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report - on Petition of Henry Bickford that the same be referred to the next Legislature - was read and accepted in concurrence.

Mr. Chase of Sebec has leave of absence after Tuesday next during the remainder of the Session.

On motion of Mr. Smith of Portland - Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Secretary of State to make and complete the Records required to be kept in his office so far as he can do the same from original documents in said office, which were not recorded or which were imperfectly recorded previous to his election to office - sent up for concurrence.

Resolve - in favor of Levi Dow came from the Senate passed to be engrossed for concurrence - and the House nonconcurred - amended the Resolve as on sheet annexed D. and indefinitely postponed the same - sent up for concurrence.
