(280) [Resolve in favor of S. Haines &c] the part of the Senate, on the subject of the disagreement between the two Houses in relation to the Resolve entitled "Resolve in favor of Samuel Haines and for other purposes" made a report which was accepted. Thereupon the Senate receded from their former vote, adopted the amendment proposed by the House and passed the same to be Engrossed as amended in concurrence. [Resolve in favor of S. Haines &c] Mr. Megquier had leave to lay on the table a Resolve entitled "Resolve in favor of Samuel Haines" which was read the first and second times and passed to be Engrossed. [Resolve in favor of J. Bodwell & als] The Resolve entitled Resolve in favor of Abijah Usher Hr., Nathan D. Appleton and Obadiah Hill came up, having passed the House to be Engrossed as taken into a New Draft, for concurrence. The Senate nonconcurred the House and adhered to their former vote whereby they passed the original Resolve to be Engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. (Both Houses adjourned without day before this Resolve was finally acted on.) See the last Entry Page 284) [Resolve in favor of M. Tibbets] A Resolve from the House entitled "Resolve in favor of Moses Tibbets" came up, having passed the House to be Engrossed, for concurrence. It was read the first and second times and passed to be Engrossed, in concurrence. [Resolve in favor of S. Haines] The Resolve entitled "Resolve in favor of Samuel Haines came up indefinitely postponed for concurrence. The Senate receded from their former vote and concurred the House in their proposition.
