On motion of Mr. Prince of Turner Ordered that tomorrow at eleven o'clock be assigned for the choice of Major General of the sixth Division of the Militia of this State to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Major General Burbank - read and passed - sent up for concurrence
On motion of Mr. Mildrum of Wells, Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a Law remitting to town officers all penalties incurred by an omission to return the votes for state and county officers within the time prescribed by Law where such omission was occasioned by mistake - read and passed - sent up for concurrence.
