The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill to incorporate the City of Portland and the same was passed to be enacted. Sent up.

Mr. Robinson of Bethel has leave of absence after this day during the remainder of the session.

Resolve in favor of Daniel J. Perley came from the Senate taken from their files of last year and referred to the Committee on Claims for concurrence, and the House concurred.

Report of the Committee on Finance on the petition of the Selectmen of Brunswick granting leave to withdraw was read and accepted.

The House recede from their former vote recommitting to the Committee on Claims the Reports on, Petition of town of Bangor - of John Bennock and - of George Leonard, and accept the same in concurrence with the Senate.

Claim of Samuel Searle against the State of Maine was read and referred to the Committee on Claims, sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Franklin Bank was read a third time and recommitted to the Committee on Banks and Banking on the part of the House.

Bill to provide for the general vaccination of the Inhabitants
