Bill to incorporate the proprietors of the Moosehead Dam Company, reported in a new draft by Mr Farnsworth from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, to which had been recommitted, "Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Moosehead Dam Company," was read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to prevent the destruction of Pickerel in Chandler, and Joel Bean's Mill Pond, Bill to increase the toll of a Bridge over Wild River, in the town of Gilead, severally read a second time, and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.

A message was received from the House informing the Senate, that the House had elected on their part Alvan Bolster Major General, for the Sixth Division of the Militia of this State, and requesting the concurrence of the Senate.

On motion of Mr Tebin, Ordered, that tomorrow at eleven o'clock be assigned for the choice of a Major General in the Sixth Division of the Militia of this State in concurrence with the House.
