Duties - - promulgate and administer rules and regulations necessary to govern the practice of optometry; establish rules and requirements for the recognition of schools of optometry; examine, license and register optometry applicants. Members - - 5 persons who have been resident optometrists for at least five years prior to their appointment, appointed by the Governor with advice and consent of the Council.
