On motion of Mr. Abbott of Vassalboro Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of reviseing [revising] the laws respecting pounds and impounding beasts and respecting lost goods and stray beasts, with leave to report by bill or otherwise read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]
On motion of Mr. Call of Bangor Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of reviseing [revising] the several statutes now in force regulating the sale of Ardent Spirits and embodying all necessary provisions upon that subject into a single Act with leave to report by Bill or otherwise read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]
