Bill to incorporate the Neguemkeag Mill Dam company, reported by Mr. Prescott from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred the petition of Thomas Carlton and others, read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
Petition of Mary Barbarie, praying for a grant of land or other relief on account of the revolutionary services of her late husband, John Barbarie, read and referred to the Committee on Military Pensions. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
The Report of the Adjutant General was taken up and referred to the Committee on the Militia. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
Petition of Edward Smith and others, praying that they may be incorporated for the purpose of making a rail road from St. John's River to Bangor, read and referred to the Committee to which was referred so much of the Governor's message as relates to Internal Improvement.
