On motion of Mr Cobb, ordered that the Joint Select Committee on the alteration of laws, regulating the education of youth be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a law requiring the inhabitants of school districts when a part of this district shall be set off by a vote of the town to pay over to those persons so set off their proportion of lands building and money belonging to the said district.
