The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Resolve respecting the first Cumberland Turnpike Corporation -in favor of the Judge and Register of Probate in the County of Washington -in relation to the public acts & Resolves - - authorizing the Treasurer to pay a portion of the public debts -authorizing attornies in the Court of Common Pleas to practice law in the Supreme Judicial Court in certain cases - -authorizing the appointment of certain officers - - for establishing a Board of Internal Improvement - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on the Pay Roll, reported Roll of the House and also Resolve on the pay roll of the House, which was twice read and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate, was read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

A message came from the Senate informing the House, that the Senate when they next adjourn have agreed to adjourn without day - The House ordered the message to be laid upon the table, and Mr Holmes was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith

A message came from the Senate proposing amendments to the engrossed Bill, entitled "an act for the relief of Poor Debtors" which the
