261 Bill additional respecting the Salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate was read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The conferees on the part of the House to whom was referred the Bill entitled an Act to annex a part of the town of Hallowell to the town of Gardiner, having met the Conferees on the part of the Senate upon the subject of differences between the two Houses in the premises - propose that the amendment of the Bill adopted by the House on sheet annexed marked D be further amended by striking out the word "five" before thousand thousand, and insert instead thereof the word "three" which report was read and accepted.

Bill to annex a part of the town of Hallowell to the town of Gardiner was taken up and the House so far reconsider their former vote relative to the Bill as to adopt the amendment as proposed by the Conferees and pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to repeal an Act to encourage the destruction of Crows was read a third time and ordered with the [?] to lie on the table
