and to the 5th Conn. Regt.  I was

dismissed at 4 oclock and then I

came to camp.

this morning at 8 oclock. I had

To day has been a warm and bea-

utiful day.  it seems like a day in

Came off from Picket guard this

morning at 8 oclock got into Camp

abought 10 ockock and then I sent

down to Stafford Court House and

bought me some letter paper and

Envelopes.  came back to Camp and

was in quarters the rest of the day.

Tuesday, 10.

 In quarters all day. received

a letter from home and write one to a friend in Center Sidney, Me I received a couple of News Papers from home to day.

Wednesday, 11. I was on Picket Guard today about two miles from Camp. It has been very cold and uncomfortable on guard to day. I came into Camp at night and got my rations, for when I went on duty this morning I did not know where0o I was going so I did not take my rations with me.

Thursday, 12. To day, I was detailed to Capt. Tanner of the 124th Reg of N.Y. Vol to be an Orderly. for a General Court Martial that is to take place to day. had to go to Gen'l Williams Headquarters and to the 5th Conn. Regt. I was dismissed at 4 oclock and then I came to camp.

Friday, 13. this morning at 8 oclock. I had to go out on Picket Guard, down at the Landing on [?] Creek To day has been a warm and bea- utiful day. it seems like a day in May. I wrote a letter home today.

Saturday, 14. Came off from Picket guard this morning at 8 oclock got into Camp abought 10 ockock and then I sent down to Stafford Court House and bought me some letter paper and Envelopes. came back to Camp and was in quarters the rest of the day.
